To make the process even more convenient the engineers at Braun built the Braun SE7281WD Xpressive Body System that offers Wet or Dry use. Now you can use it in the shower if that best fits your schedule or right before you head out of the house if that makes more sense.
This new system is also available at a lower price point than other Braun Xpressive models making it a true winner. Let’s take a closer look at why we so highly recommend this product.
More Options, More Convenience, More Comfort
Options are wonderful and the Braun SE7281WD Xpressive Body System delivers. First of all, you can use this epilator at a time that works for you. If you prefer to get the hair removal task out of the way along with your shower, then this tool is perfect. Some women like to soak in the tub for a while and then use the Xpressive Wet and Dry before soaking some more to soothe the skin.
Many customers also report that using the system in a wet setting is more comfortable. It causes less pain and for those who get red bumps after epilating they seem to disappear more quickly when you soak in a tub or run warm or cool water over the treated parts of your body.
Very Comfortable

I love this epilator! The Xpressive Body System is the first one I’ve ever had and it works really well. Yes, it hurts a bit the first time you use it. It’s almost like it surprises you since you don’t know what to expect. But you get used to it really quickly and pretty much stop thinking about it after that. Some loud music you really love playing in the room helps a lot! My skin is pretty sensitive so doing the really sensitive places takes some courage. But I don’t like shaving there, either, and waxing makes me cry! So, I’d rather use this and get it over with for a longer period of time.
There’s one head for epilating and the other for doing the trimming spots, if you know what I mean. The massager is okay. It seems to help make the discomfort less, but it pokes me sometimes. The efficiency cap is what I use most often, though it doesn’t seem to work as well wet because it doesn’t glide as nicely.
I love the light. It shows you where you missed a spot or where pesky hairs didn’t come out on the first try. To get an entire area completely done I usually go over it in like 3 or 4 different directions. That seems to get all of the hairs really well.
One trick I have found is that if you pull on the skin to tighten the area you are going to do you will get much more complete results. The hair comes out better and it seems to hurt less. I need to epilate about every 2 weeks. Some say you can go 4 weeks, but I can’t. My hair is medium brown and a little bit thick. I’ve noticed that the hair growing back is thinner and harder to see, which is great.
I’m very glad I bought this epilator. I used to have to shave every 3 days or look pretty hairy. I haven’t used a razor or shaving cream in a long time. The Xpressive epilator is easy to clean and not real loud – though I know others say it is louder than they expected. I’m very happy with it and think it’s a great investment.

This epilator has exceeded my expectations and I’m very pleased with it. I know home hair removal like nobody’s business. I’ve used a regular razor, electric razor, hot wax kits, Nair, and even the original Epilady. This is the best of the bunch, no doubt about it.
I hate pain, but my desire to get rid of unwanted body hair leads me to keep looking for the best option on the market. The Xpressive Body System just might be it. It’s nearly perfect and there’s really no pain at all, just a little bit of tingling. I’m really sensitive to pain so that means a lot when I say this doesn’t hurt. The massaging head definitely cuts down on the pain and I suggest you use that head for the first few times at least. After the first 3 or 4 uses I switched to the Efficiency head because it goes faster. I still use the massaging head on sensitive areas, but it’s not all that necessary.
The Smart Light is really awesome. It helps me see even really small hairs so that I can run the epilator back over them and get them out, which is great to see. This model is also very easy to clean.
I haven’t tried the Xpressive Body System in the shower yet but probably will next. Right now I put on a great movie, have a snack, and go to work on my legs or armpits. You’ll enjoy the great freedom you experience with this device. It’s totally worth the money I paid for it! Five stars all the way!
The last thing I would mention is a couple of tips for making it easier. First, it helps to exfoliate a day or two before epilating. It makes the short hairs easier to get. Next, if you are having trouble getting short or fine hairs stretch the skin taut and that makes it easier to get out the tough hairs. I love this epilator and think you will too.

I have had an Emjoi epilator for quite a while but rarely use it because it hurts like heck! Like waxing in slow motion. No thanks! The old epilator pinches and pokes me in the most sensitive areas and my skin is sensitive so you know why I avoid it. Then a friend suggested this epilator to me. I’d rather epilate than shave but I didn’t think my skin could stand it. I hate shaving, too! Razor burn and red bumps for days!
I didn’t think the Xpressive epilator would be any better but my friend kept bugging me to get one and try it. Wow! I did and she was right. This thing is much gentler than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
Both the epilator function and the shaver/trimmer are wonderful. The pain is almost zero. Occasionally I’ll feel a pull but it is rare. I don’t dread using it the way I did with my Emjoi and the results are amazing. I love having smooth skin for 10-14 days instead of maybe 2 days. And since the epilator removes the entire hair the ones that grow back seem to be weaker. I notice it is more comfortable each time I use it.
I didn’t mention that I’ve had this for almost a year and it still works fantastic. The battery lasts long enough for me to cover my whole body in one charge if I want to. I have used it dry and wet and the wet use is a bit easier but they both work great. I recommend it all the time to my friends and so I’ll recommend it to you.

I’ve tried a handful of epilators in the last 10 years and this one is easily the best. I love the massager and the efficiency cap. I use them both and they work fantastic. The light really helps since my eyes aren’t that great and I use this in the shower, without my glasses on! There’s almost no discomfort and the results last 3-4 times longer for me than shaving. If you are a hairy guy that wants to get rid of some of that fur, pick up one of these and see how easy it can be.

Braun has made their best epilator yet and I’m really glad I bought it. I was getting by on an older model that I thought was pretty good. This one is much better! There is less pain when my wife does my back and more than 95% of the hair comes out on the first try. The shaving attachment is awesome, too. Like having a separate tool thrown in for free. Get an Xpressive Body System and save time, money and hassle.

I have used Braun Silk-epil for a long time before I bought the new Xpressive. This product from Braun is just as good, probably better at removing hair with little discomfort. A little tingle is all I feel and I can live with that to get rid of the hair on my shoulders and back for much longer than shaving can ever do.
One improvement is in the battery. This epilator lasts much longer than my older ones ever did so I can use it quite a few times before it needs to be recharged. I also like that the new light on this model reminds you when the battery is getting low. That way you can recharge it and have it fresh for next time. With my old model it would sometimes die on me half way through when I forgot to recharge it. No more frustrations there!
Two other comments. The on/off button is a bit tricky to work, but it’s not a major issue. Also, the wipes are a nice idea but are mostly unnecessary. You don’t really need them since the epilator is pretty gentle on skin.

The Xpressive is the first epilator I’ve ever owned or used, and if I knew how well they work I would have bought one a long time ago. I really like the option of using it wet or dry. Other epilators don’t give that choice. Sometimes I use the Xpressive in the shower, but not always. Either way, it works very well. The unit is a bit nosier than I expected which made me think it was going to hurt when I used it. Thankfully it does not hurt and I can keep my legs free of hair by using it every couple of weeks.
When I first got the Xpressive Body System I used the massager head all the time. Now I mostly use the efficiency cap and it works really well on tough areas like my ankles and knees, armpits, etc. I take my time with the process of epilating and the patience seems to pay off in a better overall job. I’m satisfied with this tool and am very happy to recommend it.
